Supply of Laboratory Chemicals for Research and Development of APIs

The Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Islamabad is procuring laboratory chemicals under the PSDP Project titled 'Research, Development and Technology Transfer of Selected Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) for Import Substitution'. This procurement is specifically for supply to PCSIR H-9 Laboratories in Islamabad. The scope includes a comprehensive list of chemicals such as NaOH, Perlite, Whatman filter papers, Ethanol, Ethyl Acetate, Activated Carbon, Acetone, Petroleum-Ether, Silica Gel, Chloroform, Methanol, Sulfuric Acid, Isopropanol, NH4OH, HCL, various ion exchange resins, calibration buffers, distilled water containers, and other specialized chemicals and materials required for laboratory and research purposes. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying similar laboratory chemicals and materials to research institutions or pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable. The tender follows the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure and requires submission of bids electronically through www.eprocure.gov.pk. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 50,000/- in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory and must be submitted in hard form to PCSIR Head Office Islamabad. The deadline for bid submission is 11:30 hours on June 2, 2026, and late or manual bids will not be accepted. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids, ensuring compliance with all requirements including PEC registration if applicable.
