Supply of Langar (Channa Pulao and Zarda) at Darbar Hazrat Bari Imam Annual Urs 2026

The Auqaf Directorate (Shrine Wing), Islamabad Capital Territory, invites reputed firms for the supply of Langar during the Annual Urs at Darbar Hazrat Bari Imam (R.A) in Islamabad from 15 to 17 August 2026. This tender is specifically for caterers with a sound financial track record and production and distribution facilities within Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The successful bidder will be responsible for cooking and distributing Langar on site at the Darbar during the Urs period. Items being procured: - Channa Pulao: 1200 daigs (10 KG best quality rice, 2 KG white channa, 2 KG Dalda Manpasand ghee/oil, other spices/garam masala as required) - Zarda: 300 daigs (10 KG Saila/Kamal/Basmati rice, 2 KG Dalda Manpasand ghee/oil, 1 KG Murrabba Karonda, 400 G Kishmish (raisins), 200 G Badam Girri (almond)) The technical scope includes cooking the Langar at the premises of Darbar Hazrat Bari Imam (R.A) with all necessary crockery, cutlery, utensils, refrigerators, deep freezers, and gas cylinders to be arranged by the bidder. The Auqaf Directorate will provide space, electricity, and water only. The bidder must ensure both quantity and quality of foodstuff, which will be monitored by a committee. Penalties up to 5% of the total bid amount may be imposed for substandard supplies. Hygienic conditions must be maintained throughout. Eligibility criteria include proven experience in catering or managing Langar at Urs or similar contracts, financial stability supported by bank statements and certificates, registration with Income Tax, Sales Tax, IESSI, and EOBI, and active status on the Active Taxpayer List. The bidder must submit a company profile, list of staff with roles, and affidavits regarding litigation and blacklisting status. The bid security of Rs.1,300,000/- in the form of a bank draft in favor of Deputy Director (Auqaf), Islamabad, must accompany the bid. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 1200 hours on 11 August 2026, with financial bids opening at 1230 hours the same day. Manual bids will not be accepted. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents, including bid security and registration certificates, are uploaded correctly on EPADS and the original bid security is delivered to the Auqaf office before bid opening to avoid disqualification.
