Tender Description
The Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control Islamabad invites sealed tenders from authorized dealers and firms having proper shops, telephone facilities, and valid sales tax registration along with vendor numbers/NTN for the supply of various goods for the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured:
- Machinery equipment
- Computer equipment
- Software
- Furniture and fixture items
- Vehicle tyres including bulletproof tyres
The procurement covers supply to the Ministry's Sale/Service Centers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Bidders must submit earnest money in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Call Deposit as specified: Rs. 600,000 for machinery and computer equipment, Rs. 500,000 for furniture/fixture items, and Rs. 350,000 for vehicle tyres. Security deposits will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders and released to successful bidders after 30th June 2027.
Rates quoted must be for original and genuine brands and remain valid until 30th June 2027. Sub-standard items will be rejected and suppliers blacklisted as per PPRA rules. Delivery must be made on approved rates throughout the year at the Ministry's premises in R Block, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad, with transport arranged by the supplier.
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Section Officer (General) on payment of Rs. 5000 until 25th September 2026. Bids must be submitted in hard copy and also quoted online via the e-procurement portal EPADS. Required documents include firm registration certificates, NTN, sales tax registration, vendor number, and bank account/IBAN details.
Sealed tenders must reach the Section Officer (General), Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Room #604, R Block, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad by or before 28th September 2026 up to 1100 hours. Bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours in Committee Room S Block. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any tender wholly or partially with proper justification and may cancel contracts if items are sub-standard or not supplied timely. Firms must provide an affidavit on stamp paper confirming no blacklisting or disputes with government organizations.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required certificates and earnest money are submitted correctly and on time, and avoid overwriting or use of white fluid on quotations to prevent disqualification.
