Tender Description
The Central Jail Faisalabad is procuring Malatia Cloth with a width of 36 inches for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is being conducted under the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules via the Punjab E-Procurement System. Items being procured:
- Malatia Cloth width 36 (11000 meters)
This tender requires suppliers to submit their Technical and Financial proposals online through the Punjab E-Procurement portal. The scope includes supply of high-quality Malatia Cloth suitable for jail use, meeting the specified width and quantity. The procurement process mandates submission of earnest money amounting to 2% of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 100,000, in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank. Bidders must have at least three years of relevant experience and be registered with FBR and ATL.
The tender documents, specifications, and bidding forms are available on the official Punjab e-procurement website. The last date for submission is 1st August 2026 at 11:00 AM, with the closing date for bids set at 8th August 2026 by 23:59:59. All bids will be evaluated as per PPRA Rule 38(2)(a). Overwriting or corrections in the tender documents are not permitted. Performance guarantee of 7.5% of the contract value will be required from the successful bidder.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their Technical Proposal is complete and compliant with all PPRA requirements before submission, as incomplete or illegible proposals will be rejected. Early registration on the Punjab E-Procurement System and careful review of the tender documents will improve chances of success.
