Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Local Purchase Division in Karachi is procuring a wide range of marine equipment and consumables essential for naval operations and maintenance. This procurement includes items such as marine engine oils, detergents, water dispensers, hydraulic fluids, oxygen generators, jet washing machines, power cables, firefighting and damage control equipment, paints, thinners, primers, and various other technical supplies.
The technical scope covers both locally available and imported items, with standard delivery times of 15 days for local and 45 days for imported goods. The items are specified with detailed technical and general specifications, including brand names and certifications where applicable. This ensures that suppliers provide quality products meeting the stringent requirements of the Pakistan Navy.
Eligible bidders should be registered firms with valid FBR and ATL registration. While PEC categories are not explicitly mentioned, experience in supplying marine or industrial equipment will be advantageous. Non-registered firms must provide a bank guarantee of 5% of the purchase order value or register with HQ COMLOG to avoid this requirement.
The tender opening date is set for 14th July 2026, and all quotations must be submitted before this deadline. Tender fees of Rs 500 are required per quotation, payable via bank draft, pay order, cross cheque, or online transfer. Contact details for queries include phone numbers 021-48508524, 48508828, and email addresses clp@paknavy.gov.pk and localpurchasedivision@gmail.com.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical data sheets, brochures, and proof of product specifications are enclosed with the quotation to avoid disqualification. Also, timely submission with complete documentation including earnest money or CDR will enhance the chances of success in this competitive procurement.
