Supply of Medicine and Related Items

The Directorate General of Social Welfare and Special Education Balochistan is inviting bids from eligible suppliers for the supply of medicine and related items. This procurement is specifically for the Quetta region under the Government of Balochistan. Items being procured: - Medicine and related items (Total Item(s) Count: 63). The procurement will be conducted under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. The scope includes supplying medicines and related healthcare products to meet the department’s requirements. The bidder must have a functional factory or office in Balochistan and must be registered with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan or hold a provisional certificate from the same authority. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have completed 3 assignments of similar nature and complexity with a turnover of at least PKR 3,700,000 in the previous 3 years and a turnover of at least PKR 3,650,000 in 3 subsequent previous years. The firm must be on the Active Tax Payer List and possess a valid Sales Tax Certificate. Joint ventures are not permissible. Bidders must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan. The tender fee is PKR 1,000. Bid security of 2% of the bid value is mandatory and must be submitted in the form of a deposit from a scheduled bank.
