Supply of Medicine and Related Items

The Balochistan Employees Social Security Institution (BESSI) in Quetta invites eligible bidders for the supply of medicine and related items. This procurement is governed under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. The tender requires bidders to submit electronic bids only via the Electronic Public Procurement System (EPPS) of BPPRA Government of Balochistan. No physical bids will be accepted. Items being procured: - Medicine and related items (Total items count: 243) The scope includes supplying a comprehensive list of medicines and related pharmaceutical products as per the detailed bidding documents. Bidders must ensure compliance with drug regulatory requirements including registration with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan or provisional import license, and drug sale license from DG Health. Shelf life requirements are 75% for local products and 70% for imported products from the date of supply. The successful bidder will provide two samples of each quoted item within three working days for technical evaluation. Eligibility criteria include three assignments of similar nature and complexity with a turnover of at least PKR 50,000,000 in the previous three years. The bidding firm must be on the Active Taxpayer List and not blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan. Joint ventures are not permitted. Bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit is mandatory. The tender fee is PKR 1,000. Tender documents can be obtained electronically from www.bppra.gob.pk.
