Supply of Medicine and Related Items by Commissioner BESSI Quetta

The Commissioner Balochistan Employees Social Security Institution (BESSI) Quetta invites bids from eligible bidders for the supply of medicine and related items. This procurement is governed under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 and requires bidders to be registered on the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA GOB. Items being procured: - Medicine & related items (Total Item(s) Count: 129) The medicines supplied must have at least 75% of their original shelf life remaining at the time of delivery unless otherwise approved. All medicines/products must be genuine, standard-quality, legally registered/approved where required, and compliant with DRAP requirements and applicable specifications. Substandard, spurious, counterfeit, misbranded, adulterated, expired or unregistered products will not be accepted. Complete traceability from manufacturer/authorized distributor to the bidder and procuring agency is mandatory. Vendors must establish lawful purchase/supply and warranty chain for supplied products/batches. Medicines without verifiable supply-chain traceability may be rejected. Eligibility criteria include assignments of similar nature and complexity worth 1,000,000 PKR in the previous 2 years, turnover of at least 4,500,000 PKR in 2 subsequent previous years, presence in Active Tax Payer List, valid Sales Tax Certificate, and no blacklisting by any procuring agency of Pakistan. Joint Ventures are not permissible. Bid security of 100,000 PKR in the form of Bank Guarantee or Deposit at Call is required. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned upon payment of 1,000 PKR. Issuance of tender documents is from the date of publication until 21 September 2026 during office hours on working days. The last date for bid submission is 21 September 2026 till 01:00 PM. Tender opening will be held the same day at 02:00 PM at the office of the undersigned. The office is located at Labour Hall near Post Office Block No 2, Satellite Town, Quetta.
