Supply of Medicine and Surgical Items through Zakat Fund and LP Fund Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal

The Social Welfare, Population, Women Development, Human/Child Right and Youth Affairs Department Gilgit-Baltistan, through its Social Services Medical Centre (SSMC) at DHQ Hospital Astore, invites sealed tenders from authorized distributors and suppliers who are registered with the Income Tax Department for the financial year 2022-23. The procurement involves the supply of medicine and surgical items funded through the Zakat fund and LP Fund Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal. Items being procured: - Medicine and Surgical Items through Zakat fund - Medicine and Surgical Items through LP Fund Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Tender documents with detailed specifications can be obtained from the office of the undersigned during office hours. The tender documents must be submitted to the same office on or before the deadline of 31 August 2026 by 11:30 AM. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM. The scope requires suppliers to provide quality and quantity medicines to patients at SSMC Astore. A call deposit or security deposit of 2% must be attached with the tender specifically for medicines, payable via demand draft or pay order in favor of the Social Welfare Officer SSMC Astore from any scheduled bank. Incomplete or incorrect documents will not be accepted and may lead to legal action. Items must be delivered only after issuance of supply orders from the SWO SSMC Astore. Rates offered will remain valid until 30 June 2027. Approved contractors/suppliers will be responsible for paying any extra charges from Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and Zakat cheques. Participation is open to Astore outlets and firms. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender according to PPRA rules 33(1).
