The District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Khar Bajaur is inviting sealed bids for the supply of various essential items and services for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is managed by the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Khar Bajaur, located in Khar Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The tender follows a single stage single envelope bidding procedure and requires bidders to be registered with Income Tax, Sales Tax departments, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority. Items being procured: - Local purchase of medicine (ER medicine) - Local Purchase of Zakat Medicine - Medicine for Sehat Sahulat Program - Medical gas/ Oxygen gas - Laboratory & Blood bank reagents/ chemicals - Repair of equipments - Repair of vehicle - Contingency & Miscellaneous items - Electric & Sanitary items - Purchase of Dialysis kits - Stationary & Printing items The scope includes supply of medicines including emergency and zakat medicines, medical gases such as oxygen, laboratory and blood bank reagents and chemicals, repair services for medical equipment and vehicles, contingency and miscellaneous items, electric and sanitary supplies, dialysis kits, and stationery and printing materials. The procurement will be conducted under KPPRA Rules 2014 with a framework contract agreement. Bidders for local purchase of medicines must have valid drug sale licenses and pharmacists where applicable. Preference will be given to experienced firms and suppliers. Each item requires a separate sealed envelope containing both technical and financial bids. Bids must be submitted through the EPADS portal before the closing date and time of 20-08-2026 at 10:00 am. The bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 am in the presence of the purchase committee and bidders or their representatives at the Medical Superintendent's office. Bidders must be registered with KPPRA, FBR, and have NTN numbers. Blacklisted bidders will be rejected. All financial bids should be submitted separately and envelopes must be clearly marked confidential. The successful bidders for emergency and zakat medicines must operate a 24/7 pharmacy near the hospital premises. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all bid documents are computerized, signed, and stamped by authorized personnel, avoiding handwritten or manipulated documents to prevent rejection. Also, attach all required certificates including SEC.P and oxygen gas analysis reports where applicable. Strict adherence to bid submission instructions and deadlines is crucial for consideration.
