Tender Description
The MTI-Hayatabad Medical Complex Supply Chain Management Department in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is procuring a wide range of medical and related supplies through a national competitive bidding process. The procurement includes medicines, sutures, surgical disposables, drugs, non-drug items, and medical devices. Additionally, implants for neurosurgery, orthopedics, dental and spine departments, coronary artery bypass grafting disposables, pediatric cardiac intervention disposables, ophthalmology and gastroenterology disposables are required. The tender also covers repair and replacement components for biomedical equipment, security and surveillance devices, supply of medical gases for three years, as well as printing and stationery items.
This procurement is aimed at ensuring the availability of critical medical consumables and equipment components to support the hospital and its affiliated institutions. Bidders must be manufacturers, importers, or authorized distributors registered with relevant authorities including FBR, SECP, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority where applicable. The tender requires submission of earnest money in the form of a CDR amounting to Rs. 500,000 for each lot. The bidding process follows the KPPRA Rules 2014, using a single stage two envelopes method for most items, with some lots under single stage single envelope bidding.
Interested suppliers should have valid registration, relevant experience, and must submit their bids electronically via the E-PADS portal. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 19-05-2026 at 11:00 AM in the conference room of MTI-HMC Peshawar. The tender opening will be on 03-06-2026 at 11:30 AM. All bids must be uploaded well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues. Handwritten bids will be rejected. The original bid security must be submitted in a sealed envelope before the closing date.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure complete compliance with the technical and financial bid requirements, including uploading clear scanned copies of all documents on E-PADS and submitting the original CDR on time. Partial bids for multiple lots will be considered non-responsive, so bidders should quote for the entire lot to avoid rejection. This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified suppliers to engage with a major healthcare institution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
