This procurement is specifically for the fiscal year 2026-27 and targets suppliers and workshops capable of providing comprehensive vehicle maintenance and supply of essential automotive parts.
The technical scope includes supply of tyres, batteries, and various spare parts, as well as repair and maintenance services for official vehicles. The workshops must have their own garage, secure parking, denting and painting facilities, and availability of technical experts in electrical and mechanical fields. The setup should be located in Islamabad or Rawalpindi to ensure timely service and support.
Eligibility criteria require firms to have at least five years of relevant experience, be registered with FBR and other tax authorities, and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Firms must not be blacklisted by any government or semi-government entity and should provide an affidavit confirming this. Submission of earnest money in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft amounting to Rs.300,000 is mandatory. The firm must also provide copies of firm registration, NTN, GST certificates, vendor number, and satisfactory performance certificates from at least two different departments.
The submission deadline is strictly by 23:59:59 on the 4th of July 2024. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Assistant Secretary (Accounts), President's Secretariat (Personal), Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad. It is advisable to carefully follow the checklist provided in the tender documents to avoid rejection due to incomplete submissions. Proper use of separators and flagging between documents is mandatory.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all required documents, including the power of attorney and non-blacklisting declarations, are properly signed, stamped, and attached as per the instructions. This will facilitate smooth evaluation and increase chances of successful prequalification.
