Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy), Islamabad, invites sealed bids for the supply of NIV Cardiac medical stores as detailed in Tender No 2583065/R-2511/380188/A. This procurement is specifically for the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) based in Islamabad Capital Territory. The tender covers a comprehensive list of 15 medical items including filter wires, stents, catheters, balloons, and guide wires, all essential for cardiac interventions.
The technical scope requires firms to submit detailed technical offers in duplicate, including valid licenses such as DRAP license, GMP certificates, ISO certifications, and DGDP registration. The medicines must have a minimum shelf life of two years at delivery, with strict compliance to packaging, labeling, and cold chain requirements. Inspection and quality assurance will be conducted as per PNMSD and PN Navy standards. Delivery is scheduled from 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR and preferably registered with DGDP or willing to register. Firms must provide earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per tender conditions. The tender follows a single stage two envelope bidding procedure with separate technical and commercial offers. The submission deadline is 5th June 2026 at 1030 hours at the Directorate of Procurement (Navy), Naval Residential Complex, Sector E-8, Islamabad.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the technical offer strictly follows the format given in Annex-A of DP-2 and that all required documents including treasury challan, earnest money, and technical specifications are properly flagged and submitted in the correct sequence. Non-compliance or incomplete documentation may lead to outright rejection. Attention to detail in packaging and labeling as per Drugs Act 1976 and adherence to shelf life requirements will enhance the chances of successful bid evaluation.
