Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy), Islamabad, invites sealed bids for the supply of NIV Dental medical stores and equipment as per Tender No. 2583041/R-2511/380184/A dated 28 Oct 25. This procurement is specifically for the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) located in Islamabad Capital Territory. The tender covers supply of medical stores including dental endodontic access burs and surgical burs as detailed in the attached Annex A list of items. The scope includes delivery of medicines and medical consumables with proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with shelf life requirements. Delivery is scheduled for the financial year 2026-27, from 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027, on a supply order basis.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Firms should preferably be registered with the Directorate General Defence Purchase (DGDP) or willing to register provisionally. Submission of valid licenses such as DRAP license, GMP certificate, ISO certification, and NTN/GST certificates is mandatory. Experience in supplying medical stores with a minimum turnover ten times the tender quantity is required. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) must accompany the bid as per the tender conditions.
The tender follows a Single Stage - Two Envelope bidding procedure with separate technical and commercial offers. Technical bids will be evaluated first, and only technically qualified firms will have their commercial bids opened. The tender closing date and time is 19th May 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM on the same day. Bids must be submitted at the Directorate of Procurement (Navy), Bahria Gate, Naval Residential Complex, Sector E-8, Islamabad.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the technical offer is complete and strictly follows the format provided in Annex-A of DP-2, including all required documents and certifications. Incomplete or conditional offers risk rejection. Also, attach the treasury challan and earnest money in separate sealed envelopes as instructed. This attention to detail will help avoid disqualification and improve chances of contract award.
