Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy is procuring nylon hawserlaid ropes as per Defence specifications for export to Pakistan. This tender is issued by the Attaché Defence Procurement at the High Commission for Pakistan in London. The supply includes two types of nylon ropes: one with 3.00 inch circumference and 1.00 inch diameter, and another with 1.00 inch circumference and 0.3125 inch diameter. The ropes must be factory new, fully serviceable, and comply with ISO standards including ISO 1140-2021, ISO 9554:2019, and ISO 2307 of 2019. OEM Conformity Certificates and test certificates such as LLOYD’s test certificate are mandatory. The ropes must be approved by MOD (UK) or related authorities.
Bidders must prepare their offers in sealed envelopes clearly marked Tender Inside and submit them to the Attaché Defence Procurement office in London by 12 June 2026 at 1130 hours. The bids will be opened the same day at 1230 hours. Offers should include firm prices FOB UK Seaport, inclusive of packing, delivery, and handling charges. Performance Bank Guarantee of 5% to 10% of the offer value valid for 60 days beyond delivery is required.
Suppliers should be registered with FBR and have relevant experience in supplying defence stores. The tender emphasizes strict compliance with technical specifications and documentation including OEM certificates, calibration certificates, and warranty forms (DPL-15). A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all certificates and conformity documents are complete and attached to avoid disqualification. Timely submission and adherence to the detailed specifications will enhance chances of success in this competitive procurement.
