Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) Karachi invites quotations for the supply of Oil Suction Machines required for AutoCare at PSO Central Store located at Keamari Terminal B. This procurement is specifically for the supply of quick oil change machines designed to meet the operational needs of NVROs at the Keamari terminal. The machines must include a tank with a capacity of 80-100 liters, a graduated transparent bowl of 10 liters, suction capacity of 40-60 liters after pulling vacuum, and hoses for suction and drainage with specified lengths. The noise level must not exceed 75 dB. Additionally, the machines should come with a complete kit of probes including flexible, rigid, Mercedes, and Golf probes to ensure compatibility with all vehicle types.
The supplier must provide a maintenance warranty of 12 months covering consumable parts and guarantee rectification of any faults within 24 hours. In case of delay, a replacement unit must be provided to avoid operational disruption. The machines should be wheel-mounted with a removal tray and packed securely for safe transportation. The supplier is required to submit shipment documents upon delivery and ensure all equipment is inspected by a PSO-nominated third party at the manufacturer's premises before shipment. The OEM must submit a detailed technical compliance table and relevant brochures with the bid.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and have relevant experience supplying similar equipment. PEC registration may be required as per PSO guidelines. The delivery schedule mandates supply within 120 days from the issuance of the purchase order. Penalties for delayed delivery are set at 0.1% per day of the undelivered quantity's value, capped at 10% of the total order value.
The last date for submission is **14th July 2026**. Bidders should ensure their Technical and Financial Bids are complete and comply with all specifications. A practical tip for bidders is to prepare all technical literature and compliance documents meticulously to avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation phase. Early coordination with the third-party inspection agency can also smooth the acceptance process and prevent delays.
