Tender Description
Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Karachi is inviting bids for the supply of pipes and fittings. This procurement is part of the ongoing operations and maintenance activities managed by the PD/O&M department. The scope includes various types of pipes and fittings essential for the maintenance and repair of PPL's infrastructure in Karachi. Suppliers must ensure the materials meet the required specifications and quality standards to support operational efficiency.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying industrial pipes and fittings to oil and gas sector entities will be an advantage. Although no specific PEC category is mentioned, bidders with relevant credentials and proven track record in similar supplies are encouraged to participate.
The tender closing date is set for 02 June 2026 at 15:00 hours. Bids must be submitted through PPL's e-procurement portal as per the instructions in the tender documents. Earnest Money in the form of CDR is required as part of the bid submission. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated separately to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the technical specifications section of the tender documents and ensure all required documents, including CDR and FBR registration certificates, are complete and valid. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected. Early submission through the e-procurement portal is recommended to avoid last-minute technical issues.
