Tender Description
The University of Balochistan, Quetta, is procuring a comprehensive package of refreshment, lunch, stationery items, and training materials for its University Training and Development Centre (UTDC). This procurement is aimed at supporting various training events and ceremonies throughout the financial year, ensuring quality and consistency in supplies.
The technical scope includes provision of an 18-day cycle menu featuring milk tea with biscuits, cake pieces, mineral water, and diverse lunch options such as chicken korma, chicken karai, biryani, qima mattar, and chicken manchurian. Additionally, stationery kits for 35 participants will be supplied, comprising standardized notepads, pens, training certificates, professional folders, banners, standees, and shields. The tender also covers a 5-day training event for 55 newly appointed non-teaching staff, including banners, stationery, resource person remuneration, light refreshments, high tea for closing ceremonies, certificates, and shields.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA), possess valid Professional Tax Certificates, and be active taxpayers for the financial year 2025-26. Firms should have relevant experience and valid registration on the EPADS PPRA system. Submission of earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory, with the original CDR to be submitted in person at least two hours before the financial bid opening.
The submission deadline is fixed at 26-06-2026 by 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 AM at the Treasurer's Office, Administration Block, University of Balochistan, Sariab Road, Quetta. Bidders are advised to strictly follow the instructions to bidders to avoid disqualification. One practical tip is to ensure all required documents, including affidavits on PKR 200 stamp paper and financial bid forms, are complete and properly signed to prevent rejection due to clerical errors.
