Supply of Registered Pedigree Certified Jersey Cattle to Livestock Farm Konodas Gilgit

The Directorate of Livestock, Dairy Development & Poultry Production, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed bids from eligible bidders including experienced importers, breeders' associations, and livestock trading companies registered in Pakistan for the supply of Registered Pedigree Certified Jersey cattle. This procurement includes selection, pre-export testing and quarantine, export documentation, shipment, import clearance and quarantine in Pakistan, transport to the Livestock Farm at Konodas, Gilgit, and post-arrival isolation and acclimatization support. Items being procured: - Lot 1A: Registered Pedigree Certified Pregnant Jersey Heifers (75 head) - Lot 1B: Registered Pedigree Certified Jersey Bulls (25 head) - Lot 2A: Registered Pedigree Certified Jersey Bulls (9 head) - Lot 2B: Registered Pedigree Certified Pregnant Jersey Heifers (35 head) The cattle will be delivered at the Livestock Farm, Konodas, Gilgit. The procurement is funded through Regular Budget for Lot 1 and Development Scheme (Phase-III) for Lot 2. The total bid security required is PKR 4,920,000, with PKR 3,600,000 for Lot 1 and PKR 1,320,000 for Lot 2. Bidders must submit two copies of the Technical Proposal. Bidding will be conducted under the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure of the Gilgit-Baltistan Public Procurement Rules, 2022. Bidders may bid for Lot 1, Lot 2, or both. The original bid must be delivered by 10:00 hours (PST) on 16 November 2026. Technical proposals will be opened publicly at 10:30 hours (PST) on the same day at the Directorate of Livestock, Hospital Road, Gilgit. Bidding documents can be downloaded from the GBPPRA website (https://gbppra.gov.pk/) or obtained from the office. A tender cost of PKR 14,000 must be deposited in the GB consolidated fund. Bid security must be in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank in favor of the Director, Livestock, Dairy Development & Poultry Production, Gilgit-Baltistan. Bidders should ensure their FBR registration and ATL status are valid and prepare their technical proposals carefully. Timely submission and compliance with bid security requirements are critical for eligibility.
