Supply of Round Steel and Cold Drawn Round Steel to Pakistan Ordnance Factories Wah Cantt

Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Wah Cantt invites quotations for the supply of specific steel materials as per Tender Enquiry No. 0047/LP/P782/56/P-F dated 03-Aug-26. This procurement is for the supply of high-quality steel products to POF Wah Cantt, located in Punjab province. The items being procured include: - Round Steel 23 +/- 0.5mm Dia 23-GB 702-72, Quantity: 6400 Kg - Cold Drawn Round Steel 10.90 +/- 0.05 mm Dia, Quantity: 3000 Kg The technical scope requires the materials to be brand new, from current year production, and OEM certified. The delivery period is 3 months after contract placement. The steel must be securely packed and treated to withstand tropical climate and transit hazards by sea, rail, road, or air. Inspection will be conducted by the Director QA Directorate Wah or authorized representative. Suppliers must provide technical and commercial offers separately under the Single Stage Two Envelope method as per PPRA Rule 36(b). Earnest money in the form of Bid Security is mandatory, with specific percentages based on firm registration status. Tender fee of Rs. 500/- must accompany the bid. Performance bond of up to 10% of contract value is required from successful bidders. Payment will be made on receipt and acceptance of stores through crossed cheque. The tender opening will be held at 12:00 hours on 05-Nov-26 at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. Bids must be submitted electronically on www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk at least 30 minutes before opening time. Eligibility includes PEC registration, FBR/ATL registration, and relevant experience. New bidders must submit firm credentials and supplier capability proforma. Offers with less than 50% bid money will be rejected outright. POF reserves the right to reject any or all bids without liability.
