Supply of Special Repair and Building Works for Pakistan Railways Karachi Division

Pakistan Railways Divisional Office Karachi invites bids on the prescribed bidding documents for the following works under the Single Stage - Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with Rule 36(b) of the PPRA Rules, 2004. Experienced firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the categories specified below and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) are eligible to participate. Items being procured: - Special Repair to TXR Office and Provision of Lighting & Welding Points at Port Qasim Suck Line - Special Repair to HTXR Office Building and Provision of Lighting and Welding points at MYP Suck Line Karachi Division The works include repair and maintenance of office buildings and provision of electrical and welding points at specified locations in Karachi. Bidders must be registered with PEC in category C-6 or above and have valid FBR ATL status. Earnest Money in the form of CDR or Pay Order as specified must be submitted with the technical bid. Bids will be opened on 11:30 AM at the Divisional Office Karachi. The procurement will be conducted through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) version 2.0. Bidders are required to register with EPADS and submit bids electronically. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per provision of PPRA rules 2014. The original Bid Security in the form of a Bank Guarantee/ CDR/ Pay Order in favour of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Karachi, shall be submitted physically by the office of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Karachi before the opening of the tender. A photocopy of the Bid Security shall be attached with the Technical Bid. Bidders must ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
