Tender Description
The National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC), Executive Engineer (Civil) office in Multan, Punjab, is procuring the supply and spreading of gravel at the 220 KV Grid Station Switch Yard located at NGC Piran Ghaib Multan. This project involves the delivery and proper spreading of waterborne gravel of size 37.5mm to 75mm from the Tonsa quarry to the switchyard. The scope includes excavation, screening, stacking of stone ballast, earthwork excavation, carriage of materials, dressing and leveling, compaction, washing of ballast, re-handling of gravel, and application of concrete surface treatments such as nicking and floating coat of cement. The work is to be executed strictly in accordance with WAPDA standard specifications and relevant drawings. Bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or higher and be on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue and relevant provincial authorities. Experience requirements include successful completion of similar civil works contracts totaling at least PKR 27.776 million within the last ten years. Key personnel such as a Civil Engineer/Project Manager with a valid PEC license and at least 15 years of experience, and a Site Supervisor with at least 10 years of experience, are required. The bid submission deadline is 30th June 2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bids opened publicly on the same day at 11:30 AM at the Executive Engineer (Civil) office in Multan. Bidders should submit bids through the e-PADS system and provide original bid security before the deadline. The bid validity period is 150 days.
