Tender Description

The Directorate of Education (Schools) Balochistan invites bids from eligible suppliers for the supply of stationery items in Quetta. This procurement covers a total of 23 different stationery items required to support educational activities within the schools under the Directorate's jurisdiction. The tender is specifically for the supply of these stationery goods to the Directorate's office located on Brewery Road, Quetta. Bidders must comply with the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Eligibility criteria include having completed at least three assignments of similar nature and complexity with a minimum turnover of PKR 3,500,000 in the last three years, and PKR 3,500,000 turnover in two subsequent years. Firms must be registered on the Active Taxpayer List and hold a valid Sales Tax Certificate. Joint ventures are not allowed. A bid security of 2% of the bid value is mandatory, submitted as a deposit at call from a scheduled bank in the name of the undersigned. Tender documents can be obtained from the Directorate's office upon payment of a PKR 1,000 tender fee. The issuance of tender documents is open from the date of publication until 30 May 2026 during office hours. The last date for bid submission is 30 May 2026 by 09:30 AM, with tender opening scheduled the same day at 10:30 AM at the Directorate's office. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the bid security is properly submitted and clearly documented, as failure to provide the required bid security will result in disqualification during financial evaluation. Timely registration on the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA is also mandatory for participation in this tender.
