Tender Description
The Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Institute of Cardiology in Quetta is inviting bids from eligible suppliers for the procurement of stationery items. This tender covers a total of 488 different stationery products required to support the administrative and operational needs of the institute.
The procurement is governed under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Bidders must provide a bid security of 2% of the bid value in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call from a scheduled bank. The bidding documents can be obtained from the institute's office upon payment of a tender fee of PKR 1,000. The submission deadline is strictly set for 02 July 2026 at 10:15 AM, with the tender opening scheduled for the same day at 11:15 AM.
Eligible bidders should have completed at least three assignments of similar nature and complexity with a minimum turnover of PKR 3,000,000 in the last three years. Registration on the Active Taxpayer List and possession of a valid sales tax certificate are mandatory. Joint ventures are not allowed, and firms currently blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan will be disqualified.
The tender follows a single stage one envelope bidding procedure, so bidders must ensure that all required documents, including bid security and technical and financial proposals, are submitted together. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the bid security requirements and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification during financial evaluation. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in office stationery to engage with a reputable healthcare institution in Balochistan and contribute to its smooth functioning.
