Tender Description
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, is procuring a comprehensive range of stationery, miscellaneous, and IT items for its office operations in Islamabad for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement covers a wide variety of products including ballpoint pens, paper reams, files, staplers, correction pens, air fresheners, cleaning supplies, electrical items such as LED bulbs and circuit breakers, and a broad spectrum of IT consumables like original printer toners, cartridges, laptop accessories, networking equipment, and computer peripherals.
The technical scope requires suppliers to provide original, genuine, and brand-new products conforming to NDMA specifications. Samples must be submitted with bids for quality verification. The procurement includes detailed lists of items with tentative quantities, emphasizing quality and authenticity, especially for IT consumables and toner cartridges. Suppliers must ensure timely delivery and maintain storage facilities as per requirements.
Eligibility criteria include registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), active status on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and relevant experience demonstrated by at least four supply orders. Firms must submit an affidavit on Rs. 100/- stamp paper confirming non-blacklisting and commitment to supply genuine products. Financial stability is required, supported by bank statements and audit reports for the last two years showing an annual turnover between PKR 3 to 5 million.
The bid submission deadline is **14th May, 2026 at 1100 hours**. Bids must be submitted online via the e-procurement system (https://eprocure.gov.pk) and accompanied by bid security in the form of pay order or demand draft, delivered to the Director (Procurement), NDMA Headquarters, Main Murree Road, Islamabad before the deadline. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours at NDMA Headquarters in the presence of bidders' representatives.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all mandatory documents, including bid security, affidavits, and sample submissions, are complete and submitted timely. Non-compliance or late submission will lead to disqualification. Attention to detail in the bid preparation, especially in demonstrating compliance with technical specifications and eligibility requirements, will enhance the chances of success in this competitive procurement process.
