Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy) Islamabad invites qualified suppliers to participate in the supply of various stores and equipment required by the Pakistan Navy. This procurement is specifically managed by the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) located at Naval Residential Complex, Sector E-8, Islamabad Capital Territory. The scope includes supply of stores and equipment as detailed in the tender documents, which must be strictly followed. Suppliers must submit their technical and commercial offers in separate sealed envelopes as per instructions. The technical offer should include all relevant specifications, literature, and compliance documents without prices, while the commercial offer must clearly state prices and taxes separately. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with DGDP or willing to register, possess valid FBR registration, and demonstrate financial and technical capability. Earnest Money in the form of CDR is mandatory and must be attached with the technical offer. The tender emphasizes compliance with PPRA Rules 2004 and Defence Purchase Procedures. Tender submissions must reach the Directorate by the specified deadline, and late submissions will not be entertained. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required forms (DP-1, DP-2, DP-3) and supporting documents such as OEM certificates, tax proofs, and bank challans are complete and properly sealed to avoid disqualification. Attention to detail in packaging and documentation is crucial for successful participation. The tender process includes technical evaluation followed by commercial opening only for technically accepted bids. This opportunity is ideal for suppliers experienced in defense procurement and capable of meeting stringent quality and delivery requirements.
