Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy) Islamabad is inviting bids for the supply of stores, equipment, and related services. This procurement is specifically for the Pakistan Navy and is based in Islamabad. The scope includes a variety of stores and equipment as detailed in the attached Schedule to Tender (Form DP-2). The tender requires submission of technical and commercial offers in sealed envelopes, including documents such as bank challan, principal authorization letter, technical specifications, DGDP registration letter, and tax proofs.
Bidders must be registered or willing to register with DGDP and comply with PPRA rules and Defence Purchase Procedures. Firms should have valid FBR/ATL registration and demonstrate technical and financial capability. The tender emphasizes the importance of submitting earnest money separately and adhering strictly to the tender conditions to avoid rejection. The tender opening and submission will be handled at the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office in Islamabad.
The tender validity period is 120 days from the date of opening. Firms are advised to carefully prepare their technical and commercial bids, ensuring all required forms (DP-1, DP-2, DP-3) and annexes are duly filled and signed. A practical tip for bidders is to confirm receipt of their tender documents by contacting the Directorate before the opening date to avoid disqualification due to postal delays. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers with experience in defence procurement and compliance with DGDP regulations.
