Supply, Transportation and Installation of Precast Safety Barriers in Jansukh Mines

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the supply, transportation, and installation of precast safety barriers at the Jansukh Mines located in Warcha, District Khushab, Punjab. This procurement is aimed at enhancing operational safety and risk control in underground mine workings by installing robust precast concrete safety barriers. The technical scope includes the provision of 120 precast safety barriers, each constructed with standardized dimensions: length 6 ft, height 4 ft, base width 2 ft, and top width between 8 to 10 inches. These barriers are designed to be full solid with no hollow sections, ensuring stability and durability under underground mining conditions. The barriers will provide clear physical separation between operational pathways and hazardous zones, particularly in areas with regular movement of tractor trolleys, loaders, and workforce. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Sales Tax/Income Tax Department, Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA), and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) if applicable. Suppliers should have at least three years of relevant experience and provide proof of work orders. Financial soundness is required, supported by certified bank statements covering the last 12 months. Bidders must also submit an earnest money deposit of PKR 100,000 as bid security and comply with all tender terms including warranty and delivery within 8 to 12 weeks after supply order issuance. The tender submission deadline is 10th June 2026 by 11:00 AM via EPADS, with bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at PMDC Head Office, Islamabad. Original bid security must be submitted before the online deadline. Bidders are advised to carefully review the tender documents and ensure all required documents such as CNIC, NTN, STRN, experience certificates, and affidavits are attached.
