Surface Preparation of Level Gantry Crane No. 4

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited invites sealed bids from firms and contractors registered with FBR and SRB for the surface preparation of Level Gantry Crane No. 4. This procurement is specifically for the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited located at West Wharf, Dockyard Road, Karachi. Items being procured: - Surface preparation of Level Gantry Crane No. 4 The technical scope involves adopting a Single Stage Single Envelope system. Separate envelopes are required: one containing the Post Qualification of Tender clearly marked as 'Technical Bid' and the other containing the Quoted Price of Tender marked as 'Financial Bid' along with a Bid Security equivalent to 2% of the bid value in favor of KSEW in the form of a Pay Order. Bidding documents with detailed terms and conditions can be obtained on written request and payment of a non-refundable amount of PKR 2000 in the form of Pay Order, Cheque, or Cash in favor of Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Ltd (KS&EW). These documents are available at the office of General Manager (Yard Engineering) during working hours from 0900 to 1600 hours or can be downloaded from the KS&EW website. Eligibility requires firms to be registered with FBR and SRB. The bid security and earnest money requirements must be strictly followed. The bids must be submitted to the office of General Manager Yard Engineering of KS&EW by 10:00 AM on 24 August 2026. Technical and Financial Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM respectively in the presence of bidders' representatives. Financial bids of technically rejected bidders will be returned unopened. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the bid security is prepared exactly as required and submitted within the deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully prepare the technical bid to meet all qualification criteria as financial bids of technically rejected bidders will not be considered.
