Tender Description
The Town Municipal Corporation Mir Shar Muhammad Khan Talpur is inviting bids for the sweeping of roads, streets, and cleaning of open surface drains and sewerage lines in nine wards for a period of six months from 1st June 2026 to 30th November 2026. This procurement is specifically for sanitation services covering the whole jurisdiction of Union Committee No 09 in Mirpurkhas district, Sindh. The scope includes labor outsourcing for sweeping and cleaning activities to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in the area.
Interested firms must be registered in the Waste Management sector and hold a valid license for Non-Hazardous waste from the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA). Registration with the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) under Waste Management codes 9852 and 0000 is mandatory. The contractor must have NTN registration and provide a one-year bank statement along with experience certificates. Five years of experience in rural and municipal waste management, including garbage collection, dumping, and recycling, is required. Firms must also be certified by a recognized National or International Solid Waste Management institute and have an annual turnover exceeding PKR 30 million with an updated audit report for 2025.
The tender requires earnest money equal to 2% of the bid amount in the form of a pay order or bank draft in favor of the Town Municipal Corporation Mir Shar Muhammad Khan Talpur. The technical and financial bids must be submitted by 12:00 PM on 20th May 2026, with the opening at 12:30 PM the same day. Bidders should submit one original and two copies of their bids to the office of the Municipal Engineer, Town Municipal Corporation Mir Shar Muhammad Khan Talpur.
