Tender Description
This tender invites applications for technical training courses under the CBT&A program specifically for local domiciles of Balochistan in Khuzdar. The Department of Power and Training, Balochistan, is offering specialized six-month morning courses in various technical fields including Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Computer Operator, Automotive (Diesel & Petrol), Welding, Solar PV, Woodwork, and Plumbing Pipe Fitter. These courses aim to enhance the technical skills of the youth in the region, providing them with practical knowledge and certification.
The training will be conducted at the Technical Training Center in Khuzdar, focusing on hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge. The courses are designed to meet the current industry standards and equip trainees with skills relevant to the local job market. The department emphasizes the importance of attendance, requiring at least 80% presence to qualify for the final exam. Special provisions are made for disabled individuals, who are allocated 5% of the seats.
Applicants must hold a minimum educational qualification of matriculation or middle level depending on the course and must be between 16 to 40 years of age. Submission of a valid domicile or B-Form is mandatory. The department advises bidders to ensure their FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status is up to date and to comply with all PEC and local regulatory requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26.
The submission deadline is set for 10th March 2026, with forms available until 20th February 2026. The technical and financial bids will be opened on 12th March 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Technical Training Center, Khuzdar. Interested candidates should submit their applications in sealed envelopes along with a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of PKR 1000 as an examination fee.
