Tender Description
This tender invites applications from local individuals in Quetta for a series of professional technical training courses offered by the Balochistan Provincial Technical Training Center. The courses cover a wide range of skills including automotive mechanics, electrical work, welding, motor winding, refrigeration, and computer skills. The training spans six months from March to September 2026, with sessions scheduled in the morning and evening to accommodate different participants. The center requires candidates aged between 16 and 40 years with at least 80% attendance during training and a minimum 5% quota reserved for disabled persons.
The training is designed to equip participants with practical skills in automotive and electrical trades, welding techniques, and computer literacy, enhancing their employability in Quetta's growing technical job market. The courses include hands-on CBT&A (Computer Based Training & Assessment) modules, ensuring that trainees gain both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. The center emphasizes punctuality and discipline, with training hours strictly from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Applicants must submit a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of PKR 1000 as registration fee, which is non-refundable. The center advises all candidates to ensure their FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status is up to date and to verify PEC registration if applicable. This tender aligns with the 2025-26 fiscal year requirements, emphasizing transparency and compliance with provincial training standards.
The submission deadline is set for 10 March 2026, with bids opening on 12 March 2026. Interested candidates should submit their applications in sealed envelopes at the Provincial Technical Training Center, Quetta. The center's contact number is 081-9211007 for any inquiries.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to check the newspaper advertisement for specific Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, which are often overlooked but critical for bid acceptance.
