Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply and replacement of a Toyota engine for a vehicle used by the Chief Engineer (EHV-I) office at National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGCP) in Islamabad. The procurement focuses on sourcing a high-quality engine compatible with the existing vehicle to ensure operational efficiency and reliability within the NGCP fleet.
The work involves careful selection and installation of the engine at the NGCP Islamabad office, requiring technical expertise to handle automotive parts and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications. The replacement will support uninterrupted service delivery in the power transmission sector, where vehicle reliability is critical for field operations.
Bidders should ensure they meet the relevant PEC categories for automotive supplies and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare the Technical Bid with all required certifications and submit the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as Earnest Money to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for **7th January 2026** at 23:59:59, with bid opening scheduled shortly after. Bids must be submitted in a sealed hard copy to the office located at House 46, Street 34, Sector G-14/4, Islamabad. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the engine model compatibility and check the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and bid security requirements, which are often overlooked and can lead to bid rejection.
