Transportation/Carriage of Rock Salt Contract for Jansukh Mine No. 47 at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the transportation and carriage of rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 47 at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha, Islamabad Capital Territory. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Transportation of good quality rock salt (boulders/lumpy size, no mixing of fines locally called 'soor') from Jansukh Mine No. 47 to Main Depot/New Depot including loading and unloading, quantity 110,000 metric tons annually - Transportation of good quality rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 47 to M/s. Olympia Chemicals (Direct) including loading and unloading, quantity 10,000 metric tons annually The scope includes loading, transportation, and unloading of rock salt ensuring quality standards are met. Mixing of fines or inferior quality salt is not acceptable. The contract duration is for the financial year 2026-27 with expected commencement on September 30, 2026. Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and comply with all eligibility criteria including valid CNIC/NICOP, FBR NTN, and Punjab PRA registrations. Bid security of PKR 500,000 is required in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 3:00 PM on September 3, 2026. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 3:30 PM. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids. Performance guarantee of 5% of contract price is required from the successful bidder.
