Transportation, Safe Handling, Shifting & Erection of HT Spun Poles 45' 36' and LT Spun Pole 31' in Layyah

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed tenders from contractors approved/registered by Pakistan Engineering Council with field specialization EE 04, EE 05, CE 10 for OP Division Layyah. The contract requires producing original and attested copies of CNIC of the Contractor/Managing Partner/Director. Items being procured: - Transportation, safe handling, shifting & erection of HT Spun Poles 45' and 36' - Erection of LT Spun Pole 31' The tenders will be received in the office of Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Division Layyah on 10-11-2026 up to 1:30 PM and opened 30 minutes after closing time (02:00 PM) as per PPRA Rules. Bidders must submit 3% earnest money of the bid in shape of call deposit receipt issued by schedule Banks in Pakistan before issuance of each tender book (fresh CDR without limit of validity). The rate quoted must not be less than 20% from analyzed calculated rates/previous approved tender rates; otherwise, 5% of total bid will be submitted as performance security in shape of CDR within 15 days before approval of rates. Tender documents can be obtained on 09-11-2026 from 08:30 AM to 02:30 PM against payment of Rs. 2000 (non-refundable). Tenderers must be pre-qualified/enlisted with WAPDA/PEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/MEPCO approved contractors. The bidder must attach all required documents with the tender; incomplete bids will be cancelled. Income tax returns for last 2 years and registration with PRA are mandatory. Electronic bids are not permitted. The tenderer should demonstrate cash or equivalent liquidity to maintain 40% of contract value and current contract commitments. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel the tender or reject any bid. A practical tip: Ensure your earnest money CDR is valid and submitted timely to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully check all required documents before submission to prevent cancellation due to incomplete bids.
