Transportation of Wheat Goods from Punjab to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Reserve Centres

The Food Directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites sealed bids for the transportation of wheat and related goods from Passco Punjab to various Provincial Reserve Centres (PRCs) across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the 1st Quarter of the Financial Year 2026-27. This tender specifically covers the logistics and freight services required to move wheat goods efficiently and securely over long distances, ensuring timely delivery to designated PRCs. The technical scope requires bidders to quote rates per ton per kilometre for net weight in Pakistani Rupees. The transportation must comply with the approved Distance Chart of the Food Department. Contractors must provide irrevocable CDR/SDR bid security amounting to PKR 5,000,000 from scheduled banks, submitted at least 30 minutes before tender opening on the E-Pads platform. The successful bidder will convert the bid security into performance security and must sign a contract agreement within 15 days of approval. Additionally, a 10% freight value performance security is required for allocations exceeding PKR 5,000,000. Eligibility criteria include registration renewal for FY 2026-27, possession of at least eight trucks under the firm or contractor’s name, immovable property worth PKR 30 lacs, a bank balance certificate of no less than PKR 10 lacs, and a minimum of three years’ experience in carriage and handling of food grains. The firm must also employ 20 to 30 laborers. Tax obligations such as Income Tax, KPRA Sales Tax, Stamp Duty, and others will be deducted at source as per government rules. Tenders must be submitted electronically on E-Pads by 08 July 2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM at the Food Directorate, Haji Camp Adda, GT Road, Peshawar. Bidders should ensure all documents, including Earnest Money and technical bids, are complete and submitted timely to avoid disqualification.
