Tender Description
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Lahore requires expert teams for a comprehensive Underground Gas Leakage Detection (UGLD) survey covering its extensive pipeline network. This tender focuses on deploying skilled manpower, vehicles, and specialized equipment to ensure pipeline safety and integrity in Lahore.
The project involves surveying over 20,000 kilometers of pipeline in Lahore (East and West) within 12 months. Each team, consisting of an engineer, surveyor, leak detection inspector, and helpers, will cover approximately 3.7 km daily. The scope includes providing vehicles equipped with GPS trackers, UGLD meters, plungers, measuring wheels, and GPS devices. The survey demands strict adherence to SNGPL's corrosion control manual and safety standards, with daily, weekly, and monthly progress reporting to the corrosion control department.
Bidders must ensure PEC registration for engineers and valid certifications for surveyors and inspectors. Compliance with FBR/ATL requirements and submission of all calibration certificates is mandatory. The project requires insurance coverage for personnel and equipment, and bidders should be prepared for skill assessments by SNGPL. This tender is ideal for firms with proven experience in gas pipeline safety and leak detection.
The submission deadline is set for 23:59:59 on the closing date. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the SNGPL Lahore office. Opening of technical bids will follow immediately after the deadline. All documentation, including proof of insurance, licenses, and calibration certificates, must accompany the bid.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes detailed deployment and resource plans along with valid PEC and training certificates. Missing these often leads to disqualification. Also, double-check the newspaper advertisement for any specific Earnest Money or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) requirements to avoid last-minute issues.
