Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply of uniform and protective clothing for Customs officers in Islamabad under the Directorate of Cross Border Currency Movement Intelligence & Risk Management. The procurement is scheduled for the financial year 2025-26 and covers a comprehensive range of textile items including trousers, shirts, T-shirts, socks, metal belts, badges, caps, and other official uniform accessories. The scope ensures that all items meet the required standards for durability and official use, supporting the operational needs of Customs personnel in Islamabad.
The supply involves delivering high-quality textile and uniform items to the Directorate's office located in Mauve Area, G-10/4, Islamabad. The procurement demands adherence to specifications that guarantee comfort and protection for officers working in diverse conditions. The engineering challenge lies in sourcing materials that balance durability with comfort, suitable for both summer and winter wear, including specialized items like metal badges and protective coats.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for the fiscal year 2025-26. Compliance with PEC categories is advised, although this is a goods procurement. The tender requires submission of a 5% Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) payable to the Directorate. Bidders should ensure all documentation is complete and bids are valid until 30 June 2026.
The submission deadline is set for 20 January 2026 at 11:00 hours, with bid opening immediately after at the Directorate's Conference Room. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes physically delivered to the office address. Tender documents and specifications can be obtained from the Directorate office during working hours.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to carefully check the newspaper advertisement for specific stamp duty and bid security requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure your firm's NTN and GST registration details are up to date to avoid rejection on technical grounds.
