Tender Description
This tender invites contractors registered with the approved list of QMG's furniture organization to supply and install unit furniture for newly constructed offices and soldier quarters at Lahore Cantt. The works include furnishing offices such as 1xBn office 12 BR, 1xBn office 13 Sindh, HQ 30 IIBG, and soldier quarters including 16x soldier quarters and other related facilities. The project is part of the FY 2024-25 capital works and specific projects under Garrison Headquarters Lahore.
The scope involves high-quality furniture provision tailored to military office and residential needs, ensuring durability and compliance with military standards. The site is located in Lahore Cantt, requiring contractors to manage logistics and installation within a two-month completion period. The engineering challenge lies in coordinating timely delivery and installation while maintaining strict quality control under the supervision of the Garrison HQ.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and comply with FBR/ATL requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26. Earnest money and security deposits are mandatory, with a refundable 5% security deposit based on the estimated cost. Contractors not on the approved list may apply subject to fulfilling deposit and documentation requirements.
The submission deadline for the second job is on 29 January 2026, with tender opening at 1200 hours on the same day. Bids must be received by 1100 hours at the Garrison Headquarters Lahore Cantt. Interested parties should submit sealed hard copies of their bids along with the required Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and earnest money.
Pro-Tip: Ensure to verify the exact stamp duty and earnest money requirements as per the newspaper advertisement, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, double-check the completeness of your application to avoid rejection due to incomplete documentation.
