Upgradation of Airside Pavements for ATR-72 Category Aircraft Operations at Panjgur Airport

The Pakistan Airports Authority (Pakistan Airports Authority) invites electronic bids for the upgradation of airside pavements at Panjgur Airport to accommodate ATR-72 category aircraft operations. This procurement is for civil works involving the rehabilitation and extension of the runway, taxiway, and apron areas in Panjgur, Balochistan. Items being procured include: - Cold milling (0-70mm) of asphalt layer to designated level and width using specialized equipment - Making earthen embankments with earth from approved borrow pits - Excavation or cutting of unsuitable common material and disposal - Ploughing and preparation of sub-grade with required dressing, camber, and side slopes - Supplying and laying machine crushed stone ballast in sub-base or base courses - Providing and laying hot-mix bituminous concrete runway pavement in two layers including priming coat - Providing and laying hot-mix bituminous concrete pavement in single layer including tack coat - Repainting runway markings with water-based paint as per FAA specifications - Providing and filling rigid pavement joints with jet fuel resistant sealant - Compaction of natural ground including levelling, dressing, and watering - Excavation in all kinds of soils in trenches and channels including backfilling - Providing and laying cement concrete using graded stone ballast over prepared sub-grade - Providing and fixing RCC pipes of class C or equivalent in trenches - Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete using graded boulders in foundations - Providing and laying in situ cement concrete using crushed graded boulders in foundation, basement, and plinth - Providing and laying hard grade ribbed deformed reinforcement bars in RCC work The technical scope includes recarpeting the runway, extending the runway width by 25 feet and length by 1500 feet, crack filling, and joint filling of the apron. The work is to be completed within 180 days from commencement. Bidders must be registered with PEC and FBR, and meet the eligibility criteria specified in the bidding documents.
