Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the upgradation of 50 middle schools to high level in Balochistan, specifically including GBMIDS Pashtoon Abad Gali No 13 in Quetta. The City Quetta CWPP&H department requires experienced contractors to execute these works based on composite schedule rates 2023 on percentage rates for the financial year 2026. The project involves civil engineering and building maintenance tasks, demanding quality materials and adherence to engineering standards suitable for the local environment in Quetta.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-4 or above, with specialization codes CE10(I) for General Civil Engineering Works and CE10(VII) for General Buildings and Maintenance. The firm should have a proven track record with at least three similar projects completed in the last five years, each costing no less than 75 percent of the estimated cost. Financial capacity and active tax status are mandatory, along with no blacklisting or litigation history.
Compliance with the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 is essential. Bidders must provide a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Green Challan as bid security equal to 2 percent of the estimated cost. The firm should be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and meet all FBR requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26. Registration with PEC and proper documentation will ensure eligibility.
