Tender Description
This tender invites bids from eligible contractors in Quetta for the upgradation of 100 primary schools to middle level under the Balochistan PSDP. The project includes construction of additional classrooms and Early Childhood Education (ECE) rooms at GBPS F.G Colony Kaichi Baig. The scope demands quality construction materials and skilled workmanship to meet the educational infrastructure needs in Balochistan's challenging terrain.
The work involves civil construction with composite schedule rates 2023 on percentage basis. Contractors must be registered with PEC in category C-5 or above, with specialized codes CE10(vii) for general buildings and maintenance, and CE11(i) for general engineering works. The firm should have a turnover of at least PKR 20 million in the last three years and be on the Active Taxpayer List. Bid security of 2% of the estimated cost is mandatory, payable via bank guarantee or deposit at call.
Bidders should ensure their registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council and maintain a valid FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. The tender fee is PKR 1000, non-refundable, payable through a green challan or deposit slip. The bid must include a power of attorney on Rs.100 stamp paper authorizing the representative to submit the bid.
The submission deadline is set for 22 January 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tender opening at 12:00 PM the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the Executive Engineer Buildings, Sariab CW, PP&H Department, Spinny Road, Quetta. Interested bidders can obtain tender documents during office hours until the closing date.
