The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in Islamabad Capital Territory is procuring the upgradation and repair/maintenance services for lifts installed in its headquarters building. This procurement covers the supply and installation of high-quality parts including complete control panels, stainless steel ropes, main guide rollers, and push buttons specifically for LG Otis DI-1 Korean make lifts or equivalent. The technical scope includes advanced components such as vvvf drives, inverter door drive operation systems, communication cards, and safety features compliant with UL 508, CE, and ISO 14001 standards. The lifts have a carrying capacity of 17 persons or 1150 kg and require precise control technology with closed-loop vector control and speed accuracy of ±0.05%.
Eligible bidders must have a valid PEC certificate with ME-03 code for the year 2025-26, be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayer List, and have a minimum of three years relevant experience in upgrading LG Sigma Korean make lifts or equivalent. Bidders must also have sales and service offices in Islamabad and provide an undertaking for replacement of faulty parts during the three-year warranty period.
