Procurement of Virtualization Solution for STZA Datacenter

The Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA), located in Islamabad, is procuring a comprehensive Virtualization Solution for its Datacenter. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the IT infrastructure with enterprise-grade virtualization capabilities to support the Authority's digital operations. The technical scope includes the supply, installation, and configuration of a bare-metal hypervisor supporting a minimum 3-host cluster with dual-socket servers and 64-bit virtualization. The solution must support live VM migration, resource pooling, VM snapshots, thin provisioning, container orchestration, and SAN storage with multi-pathing. Functional requirements include perpetual licensing for 6 CPU sockets, centralized web-based management with role-based access control, high availability, disaster recovery replication, backup integration with third-party tools, and administrative audit logs. Deployment services include installation, cluster setup, DR configuration, failover testing, documentation, and training for three administrators, along with one year of technical support. Eligible bidders must be registered firms with valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registrations, active on the FBR's Active Taxpayers List (ATL), and not blacklisted by PPRA or STZA. Experience of at least two years in delivery and installation of similar virtualization solutions is mandatory. Bidders must submit a bid bond of Rs. 180,000 in the form of a pay order and provide an affidavit confirming authenticity of documents and non-blacklisting status.
