Tender Description
The Pakistan Ordnance Factories in Wah Cantt is procuring Zirconium Powder specifically for water resistance applications. This tender invites suppliers to provide 10 kilograms of Zirconium Powder conforming to the composition and delay powder specifications YB 646-67. The procurement is part of the ongoing efforts by the Pakistan Ordnance Factories to maintain high-quality materials for their manufacturing and operational needs.

Suppliers must provide a warranty or guarantee certificate valid for 12 months and submit advance samples along with their technical offer. The delivery period is three months after contract placement, and the official delivery date will be considered the date of receipt at POF Sanjwal.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and maintain an Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status. Unregistered firms must provide a one-year bank statement. Experience with government or semi-government organizations is preferred. Bid security in the form of a deposit at call receipt (CDR), pay order, or banker cheque is mandatory, with specific percentages based on registration status. Performance bonds up to 10% of the FOB contract value will be required for contracts exceeding US$50,000.
The tender was published on 27-JAN-26, with the bid opening scheduled for 11-JUN-26 at 11:00 hours at the Bid Center adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. Bidders must submit their quotations electronically via www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk and in hard copy sealed envelopes 30 minutes before the opening time. Late submissions will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the original bid money in hard form reaches the Bid Center before the closing time, as quotations without bid money and tender fee will be rejected outright. Additionally, submitting a complete technical bid with all required documents and samples will avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation phase.
