Supply and Installation of 50kW Hybrid Solar Power System at SSTEC-Sehwan

Sukkur IBA University invites bids for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 50kW Hybrid Solar Power System at SSTEC-Sehwan, Sukkur. This project includes comprehensive solar power infrastructure works to be completed within 4 months. Items being procured: - Solar Panels (50,000 W) - Aluminum PV Mounting Structure (Roof Mounted, 25,000 W) - Solar PV Mounting System over Bus Parking (25,000 W) - 20kW Three-Phase Hybrid Solar Inverters (2 Nos) - Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Batteries 5 to 6kWh (1 No) - Electrical Conduits and Cables (various specifications and lengths) - DC and AC Distribution Boards (2 Nos each) - Earthing Cables and Electrodes - Miscellaneous electrical accessories and safety equipment - Solar Cleaning Kits (2 Nos) - Lightning Protection System (2 Nos) - Smart Solar-Diesel Controller (1 No) The scope covers supply of Tier-1 quality solar panels, robust mounting structures fabricated from anodized aluminum and hot-dip galvanized steel, advanced hybrid inverters compatible with multiple battery chemistries, and high-quality LiFePO4 batteries with integrated BMS. Electrical works include installation of cables, conduits, distribution boards, earthing systems, and protective devices. The project also includes civil works for bus parking canopy foundations and safety features such as access stairs and maintenance platforms. Eligible bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council license in category C-6 or above with relevant electrical and solar installation specializations, a valid Electric Inspector license from Sindh government (Hyderabad region), and active registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities. Bidders must demonstrate an average annual turnover equal to or exceeding the estimated cost over the last five years and submit an affidavit confirming no litigation, blacklisting, or corrupt practices. Bid security of PKR 250,000 in the form of pay order or demand draft in favor of Sukkur IBA University is mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS portal using the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Technical proposals will be evaluated first, and only technically qualified bids will have their financial proposals opened. The contract includes a 12-month defect liability period post-completion. Liquidated damages for delay are set at 0.1% per day up to a maximum of 10% of the contract amount. Performance security of 5% of contract price is required upon award.
