Tender Description
The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board invites electronic bids (E-Bids) from reputable and eligible firms for the execution of annual repair and maintenance works during the Financial Year 2026-2027 based on the MES Schedule of rates 2025. Interested firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and codes and also with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) as active taxpayers for both income tax and sales tax purposes. Detailed eligibility criteria, technical requirements, terms and conditions, and scope of work are specified in the bidding documents.

- Repair / maintenance of Cantt Fund Roads / Streets in Cantt area (separate rates for Plant Carpet (JMF), Manual Carpet and PCC in Ward no. 01 and 02)
- Repair / maintenance of Cantt Fund Roads / Streets in Cantt area (separate rates for Plant Carpet (JMF), Manual Carpet and PCC in Ward no. 03 and 04)
- Repair / maintenance of Cantt Fund Roads / Streets in Cantt area (separate rates for Plant Carpet (JMF), Manual Carpet and PCC in Ward no. 05 and 06)
- Repair / maintenance of Cantt Fund Roads / Streets in Cantt area (separate rates for Plant Carpet (JMF), Manual Carpet and PCC in Ward no. 07 and 08)
- Repair / maintenance of Drainage and Sewerage works in Cantt area in Ward no. 01 and 05

- Miscellaneous Public Improvement works (i.e. Parks, Streetlights, Footpaths, Rubbish Bins Etc.) in Cantt Area in Ward no. 01 and 05
- Miscellaneous Public Improvement works (i.e. Parks, Streetlights, Footpaths, Rubbish Bins Etc.) in Cantt Area in Ward no. 06 and 10
The scope covers comprehensive repair and maintenance of buildings, roads with different surface treatments, drainage and sewerage systems, water supply lines with various pipe materials, and public improvement works including parks and streetlights. Bidders must submit bids electronically through the E-PADS V2.0 portal by 10-09-2026 at 1:00 PM. The bids will be opened the same day at 1:30 PM. Manual submissions are not entertained. Earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by a scheduled bank in favor of the Cantonment Executive Officer, Rawalpindi Cantonment Board, is mandatory. Firms blacklisted by any Government or Semi-Government organization are not eligible. Detailed terms and conditions are available in the bidding documents.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on the E-PADS portal and upload a scanned copy of the CDR with your bid to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully review the MES Schedule of rates 2025 as the evaluation will be based on these rates.
