Annual Running Repair and Maintenance Contract for PQA Cargo Handling Equipment

Port Qasim Authority in Bin Qasim, Karachi invites reputed contractors and firms for the Annual Running Repair and Maintenance Contract of PQA Cargo Handling Equipment. This tender is specifically for firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in C-6 Category or above, valid until 30th June 2027, with specialization code ME-06. Additionally, firms must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Tax Payer List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Registration with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (e-PADS) is also mandatory. Items being procured: - Annual Running Repair and Maintenance Contract for PQA Cargo Handling Equipment The scope of work includes comprehensive repair and maintenance services for cargo handling machinery at Port Qasim. The contract period is 12 months, ensuring continuous operational efficiency of the equipment. The site inspection can be arranged by contacting the Director (M&E) office at Port Qasim Authority during office hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Eligibility criteria require PEC registration in C-6 category or above with ME-06 specialization, valid NTN and Sales Tax registration, and active status on the FBR ATL. Firms must also be registered on the PPRA e-PADS portal. Earnest money of Rs. 750,000 in the form of pay order or bank guarantee in favor of Port Qasim Authority is required. Tender fee of Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable) must be paid via pay order in favor of Port Qasim Authority. Bids must be submitted in a single stage two-envelope procedure under rule 36(b) of PPRA-2004, with separate sealed envelopes for technical and financial proposals. Submission deadline is 20th August 2026 by 11:30 hours at the office of Director (M&E), Port Qasim Authority. Technical proposals will be opened the same day at 12:00 hours in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
