AUCTION: Cafeteria at University of Okara

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The University of Okara invites electronic bids for the auction of the Laterova Cafeteria located at the university premises in Okara. This auction is open to firms, companies, sole proprietors, and general order service providers registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA, along with relevant tax authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax departments. Items being auctioned: - Laterova Cafeteria (Cafeteria/Food business) The estimated annual base value for the lease of this cafeteria is Rs. 2,000,000 exclusive of all taxes. Bidders must submit a bid security amounting to 5% of the annual estimated rent, which is Rs. 100,000, attached with their bid. The auction will be conducted under the Single Stage - One Envelope procedure as per Clause 38(1) of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with Clause 35 of the PPRA Rules. All procurement activities will be carried out through the Punjab e-Procurement System, and bidders must be registered on this platform to participate. The successful contractor will be required to start serving breakfast and lunch (Roti & Salan) immediately after the issuance of the work order and signing of the contract agreement. The contract duration is one year, extendable for an additional two years with a 10% increment. Bidding documents are available free of cost and can be downloaded from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website and the Punjab e-Procurement System portal. Bid security must be submitted digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System; no manual bid security instruments will be accepted. The deadline for bid submission is 15 October 2026 at 10:30 AM.
