NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Municipal Corporation Dera Ghazi Khan invites sealed bids for the auction of annual collection rights for the cattle market (mandi) fee at Choti Zaireen for the financial year 2026-27. This auction provides an opportunity for interested parties to acquire the rights to collect fees from the cattle market, which is a significant revenue-generating activity in the region. The auction will be held at the office of the Municipal Corporation Dera Ghazi Khan on 29 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. The successful bidder will be granted the right to collect the specified fees from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. Items being auctioned: - Annual collection rights for cattle market fee at Choti Zaireen - Fee per small animal (goat/sheep): Rs. 150 - Fee per large animal (cow/buffalo): Rs. 200 - Reserve price for auction: Rs. 2,28,100 - Total annual value: Rs. 22,80,025 The technical scope includes the management and collection of market entry fees from livestock traders and buyers as per the rates fixed by the Municipal Corporation. The successful bidder must ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with all municipal regulations. Only those registered with the Punjab Revenue Authority and possessing relevant experience in fee collection are eligible to participate. Earnest money equivalent to 10% of the reserve price must be deposited via CDR or pay order at the time of bidding. Bidders must also be on the FBR Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Bids must be submitted in person at the Municipal Corporation Dera Ghazi Khan office before the auction time. The highest bid above the reserve price will be considered for award, subject to approval by the competent authority. For best results, bidders should visit the cattle market in advance to assess the potential revenue and understand the operational requirements before participating in the auction.
